Reno Behavioral Healthcare Hospital Grand Opening

Celebrating a new day for mental health and addiction services in Nevada

Reno Behavioral Healthcare Hospital officially opened its doors to patients. The behavioral healthcare hospital is the first facility of its kind to be built from the ground up in our community in more than 35 years. The modern, 80,000 square feet, state-of-the-art facility is located at 6940 Sierra Center Parkway near Target in the Meadowood area of south Reno.

The hospital will offer 124 beds and comprehensive inpatient and outpatient programs for psychiatric and addiction treatment for patients of all ages.

“Unfortunately, Nevada ranks 50th in mental health. Northern Nevada is a rapidly growing community but woefully underserved,” said hospital CEO Steve Shell. “Reno Behavioral Healthcare Hospital represents a new day for mental health and addiction services. Our goal is to raise the standard of care and give people another option for their treatment that has been lacking for many years.”

The number to call for assessments and referrals is 775-393-2201. More information about Reno Behavioral Healthcare Hospital can be found at Renobehavioral.com.
